Hola from Equador~!!! We made it, despite my lack of confidence and misgivings! ! ! Everything went as smoothly as ice, and we are in South America!! We left LAX at 2:30 am, and arrived in Guayacil at 3 this afternoon. A long trip, but perfect! I am always sure that my reservations will not be where or what I think, but there they were and here we are!!
A wonderful bonus was our arrival at LAX - I had agonized over the train, the bus, etc. The Alice, Annie, Matthew, Brett and Wyatt agreed or offered (at least the older two) to bring us all the way!! So, we were there in plenty of time (good for my psyche). So, LAX, San Jose, Costa Rica, Quito, Equador, and our destination, Guayacil, Equador!!!
We'll meet our Galapagos travel mates on Saturday. We'll look around here for the next two days. (There's an IGUANA PARK!!!)
