Of course Brett brought his pocket trumpet. I had read about "practice mutes," to keep a trumpet a little quiter. But we didn't get one in time. But I had also read about practice mutes made from Renuzit air fresheners online. Brett had just enough time to go to the store and construct (or deconstruct) one of these. It works!!!
